ROCKET STOVE - GREAT WAY TO HEAT!
http://www.richsoil.com/rocket-stove-mass-heater.jsp
(Be sure to watch the videos!)
This could be the cleanest and most sustainable way to heat a conventional home. Some people have reported that they heat their home with nothing more than the dead branches that fall off the trees in their yard. And they burn so clean, that a lot of sneaky people are using them illegally, in cities, without detection.
When somebody first told me about rocket mass heaters, none of it made sense. The fire burns sideways? No smoke? If a conventional wood stove is 75% efficient, doesn't that mean the most wood you could possibly save is something like 25%? How do you have a big hole right over the fire and not have the house fill with smoke? I was skeptical.
And then I saw one in action. The fire really does burn sideways. The exhaust is near room temperature - and very clean. The smoke doesn't come back up because a huge amount of air is getting sucked into the wood hole. Neat! I sat on one that had not had a fire in it for 24 hours - it was still hot!
how it works:

rocket stove mass heater
rocket mass heaters in a nutshell:
- heat your home with 80% to 90% less wood
- exhaust is nearly pure steam and CO2 (a little smoke at the beginning)
- the heat from one fire can last for days
- you can build one in a day and half
- folks have built them spending less than $20

INDIGO EATING A RATTLER
THIS is a one good reason NOT to kill every snake you see. Texas Indigo snake eating a Rattler. The guy who took this pic said "it was still rattling all the way down." They don't hurt humans or dogs!! There ARE snakes that are GOOD to have around, because they target the deadly ones. Just thought I'd share for those of you who think, or have friends who think, "the only good snake is a
dead snake." NOT TRUE!! In fact, it it's against FEDERAL LAW to kill an Indigo. There's only 4 poisonous snakes in the USA... Rattler, Coral, Copperhead & Water Moccasin (Cottonmouth). Learn about them & please don't kill every snake you see. It's important." --CG

MEDICAL BENEFITS OF HONEY
[Local, Raw] Honey Improves Immunity and Relieves Anxiety
For ages, the anti-bacterial properties of honey have been revered and so it is little wonder that it has been used for medicinal purposes all over the world. If you have a sweet tooth but shrink at the empty calories in processed sugar, honey is your savior.

For ages, the anti-bacterial properties of honey have been revered and so it is little wonder that it has been used for medicinal purposes all over the world. If you have a sweet tooth but shrink at the empty calories in processed sugar, honey is your savior.
It’s not only sweet, but “nutritionally quite promising,” says Engeseth, an assi...
stant professor of food chemistry at the University of Illinois.
Her research indicates that honey seems to offer many of the benefits of the fresh fruits and vegetables that nutritionists recommend for a daily diet.
“Honey has been used medically for hundreds of years for various reasons, but no one put any really strong science behind it,” Engeseth says. “Honey is often regarded as just a sweetener, but that’s not true. There is a lot of work to show that there is more value to it than has been thought.”
Even in our day-to-day lives, whether it’s a sore throat or a slight burn, we immediately use honey as a quick home remedy. But did you know that this magical product is effective in many other ways too? Here are some alternative ways you can make use of honey.
To relieve anxiety and nervousness: Yes, if you want to reduce or lower your stress levels, you don’t necessarily have to depend on medical prescriptions. Add some pure honey in your porridge. The nutrients in honey produce a calming effect, especially when taken in significant amounts. That’s the reason why some consider it a part of the breakfast of champions. Honey can also be mixed with a suitable beverage for a good night’s sleep!
Acts as an energy booster: Why consume palpitation-inducing energy drinks when you already have honey? You can mix honey with some water and then drink this solution. The glucose content in the honey will be absorbed by the brain and in the bloodstream, which will reduce your body fatigue. This one is simple, yet effective.
Honey reverses antibiotic resistance: Manuka honey could be an efficient way to clear chronically infected wounds and could even help reverse bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Raw, natural honey contains a variety of antioxidants and enzymes, and also has antibacterial properties, which can be effective both internally and externally.
Improves immunity: Though it hasn’t been scientifically been proven, daily consumption of honey is said to strengthen your immune system. Drink a teaspoon of honey daily, along with your morning vitamins and see the difference.
Remedy for ulcers in diabetics: While you have a host of products in the market that can cure ulcers, you can speed up the healing process naturally, if you use honey as a topical solution. Its ability to heal wounds will certainly come in handy when other ointments are not advised to use, especially if you suffer from diabetes.
Helps to heal wounds: Honey may reduce healing times in patients suffering mild to moderate burn wounds. A systematic review by Cochrane Researchers concluded that honey might be useful as an alternative to traditional wound dressings in treating burns.

optimum health and wellness.
Dried figs are excellent source of minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants. In fact dried fruits are concentrated sources of energy. 100 g dried figs provide 249 calories.
Fresh figs, especially black mission, are good in poly-phenolic flavonoid anti-oxidants such as carotenes, lutein, tannins, chlorgenic acid...etc. Their anti-oxidant value is comparable to that of apples at 3200 umol/100 g.
In addition, fresh fruits contain adequate levels of some of anti-oxidant vitamins such as vitamin A, E, and K. Altogether these phyto-chemical compounds in fig fruit help scavenge harmful oxygen derived free radicals from the body and thereby protect us from cancers, diabetes, degenerative diseases and infections.
Also research studies suggest that chlorogenic acid in these berries help lower blood sugar levels and control blood glucose levels in type-II diabetes mellitus (Adult onset) condition.
Fresh as well as dried figs contain good levels of B-complex group of vitamins such as niacin, pyridoxine, folates and pantothenic acid. These vitamins function as co-factors for metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
Dried figs are excellent sources minerals like calcium, copper, potassium, manganese, iron, selenium and zinc. 100 g of dried figs contain 640 mg of potassium, 162 mg of calcium, and 2.03 mg of iron. Potassium in an important component of cell and body fluids that helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure. Copper is required in the production of red blood cells. Iron is required for red blood cell formation as well for cellular oxidation.

VINEGAR = WEED KILLER
Vinegar Kills Weeds Naturally. Give Monsanto’s Roundup the Heave Ho!
There’s been lots written recently about the toxicity of Monsanto’s poster child product Roundup, exposing how harmful it is for the earth and how poisonous it is on exposure for both animals and humans. However, what is not common knowledge to most organic gardeners and back yard enthusiasts is how they can manage weed control safely without the need for dangerous pesticides. Use vinegar to kill weeds naturally and safely, with no side effects to you, your pets, wildlife and mother earth. Killing weeds naturally with vinegar allows you to target exactly what weeds to eradicate, and it’s cheap and easy to use.
We have also heard that boiling water works better than vinegar.

CLEANING FRUIT
Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for berries too - keeps them from molding. I do this with strawberries and they last for weeks!

HOMEMADE MOSQUITO TRAP
Materials:
2 liter bottle
glue
1 tsp yeast
... 1/2 cup sugar
lukewarm water
Instructions:
Cut the top off a 2 liter bottle. Invert the cone and place it inside the straight part of the bottle. Glue the two pieces together. Add 1 tsp yeast and 1/2 cup sugar to some luke warm water, and pour the mixture into the bottle. Mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide that you exhale. The yeast feeds off the sugar and emits the same gas, so the mosquito enters the bottle, thinking it will find food there and is trapped.
MICROWAVING
Both plants were watered for 9 days...The one on the left with microwaved water and the one on the right with regular water. Microwaving changes the molecular structure of water and food. Nutritionally important and sensitive enzymes in foods would also be affected.
I have stopped microwaving things as often as I can...It is a hard habit to break!

HOW TO TELL IF AN EGG IS BAD
Place the egg into a bowl of cold water. The water level should be about 2 times higher than the egg.
Fresh eggs will sink to the bottom of the bowl and probably lie on their sides. Slightly older eggs (abou...t one week) will lie on the bottom but bob slightly.
If the egg balances on its smallest tip, with the large tip reaching for the top, it's probably close to three weeks old. Eggs that float at the surface are bad and should not be consumed.

RFID CHIP IMPLANT
OBAMACARE REQUIRES RFID CHIP IMPLANTED FOR PATIENTS BY MARCH 2013
http://www.fda.gov/downloads/medicaldevices/deviceregulationandguidance/guidancedocuments/ucm072191.pdf
"implantable radio frequency transponder system for patient identifi...cation and health information."
Page 1004 of the new law (dictating the timing of this chip), reads,
and I quote: "Not later than 36 months after the date of the enactment"
H.R. 3200 section 2521, Pg. 1001, paragraph 1.
"The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the ‘registry’)
to facilitate analysis of post-market safety and outcomes data on each device that— ‘‘is or has been used in or on
a patient; ‘‘and is— ‘‘a class III device; or ‘‘a class II device that is implantable, life-supporting, or life-sustaining.”
A class II implantable device is an "implantable radio frequency transponder system for patient identification and health information." The purpose of a class II device is to collect data in medical patients such as
"claims data, patient survey data, standardized analytic files that
allow for the pooling and analysis of data from disparate data
environments, electronic health records, and any other data deemed
appropriate by the Secretary."
Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act:
Class III devises are items such as breast implants, pacemakers,
heart valves, etc. A Class II device that is implantable is, as you seen
from the FDA, an implantable radio frequency transponder, RFID chip.
From breast implants, to pacemakers, to RFID chips which one is the only
possible one that can used for the stated purpose in section B which
is, “for linking such data with the information included in the
registry”? As we know from subsection A, the information in the
registry is the name of a device. In plain speak, we are in a clear way
being told that our electronic medical records are going to be linked to
a class II implantable device!
